Starter Vacuum

The starter vacuum, the first vacuum used in Ghost Simulator.

A vacuum is a device used by the player to collect ectoplasm. They are used in all worlds except the Backdoor.

Behavior[]

When the player clicks on a ghost, the vacuum will turn on, which will vacuum the ghost. The collected ectoplasm will be placed in the player's pack.

Each vacuum varies in strength; the stronger vacuums will collect ectoplasm faster. Players entering the game are given the Starter Vacuum, but players must upgrade their vacuum when dealing with stronger ghosts for the best efficiency. Vacuum upgrades are purchased in the world's corresponding shop using the world's corresponding currency.

Pet Multipliers[]

Pets have the ability to increase a vacuum's efficiency rate through multipliers. The multiplier number varies between pets, depending on the pet's level and rarity.

Rate of vacuuming[]

Rate of vacuuming with total default pet vacuuming multiplier A, default vacuuming rate B, C times of Pet Evolution and D times of Accelerated Parts selected: (1+0.05C)*A*B*(1+0.1D)/sec

Multiple Streams[]

Main page: Multiple Streams

Multiple Streams is an upgrader that is unlocked after completing Ghost Hunter Captain Finsley's questline. This upgrader allows the player to vacuum up to three ghosts at once; when combined with the Master Hunter rebirth perk, players will be able to vacuum up to five at a time.

Photon Blaster[]

Main page: Photon Blaster

Photon Blaster is an upgrader that is unlocked after completing the Gatekeeper second-last quest. This upgrader allows the player to shoot photons at ghosts from greater distances. When the player clicks on a ghost that is out of vacuuming range, a particle will be emitted from the vacuum that travels towards the ghost, deducting a set amount of health from the ghost.

Particle Accelerator[]

Main page: Particle Accelerator

Particle Accelerator is an upgrader that is unlocked after completing Ghost Hunter Billy's questline. When equipped, the upgrader allows the vacuum to "accelerate" over time; that is, while vacuuming a ghost, the efficiency rate of the vacuum will increase, emitting a progressively higher-pitched noise.

Below is a list of all vacuums that appear in the game, in order from the lowest to highest efficiency rate.
