The Headless Hallow was a Mega Boss that was first released in the 2019 Halloween Event. To get to him one, or a group of people, would need to vacuum 4 rooms of Ghosts in the Halloween Dungeon, and would drop a Skeleton Key upon defeat.
- He reappeared during the 2021 Halloween Event as the Mega Boss in the 6th floor of the Haunted Tower 2021, and would drop a Ghost Key upon defeat.
- He reappeared during the 2022 Halloween Event as the Mega Boss in the 2nd floor of the Haunted Tower 2022, and would drop a Ghost Key upon defeat.
- He reappeared during the 2023 Halloween Event as the Mega Boss in the 2nd or 4th floors of the Haunted Tower 2023, and would drop a Ghost Key upon defeat.
Attacks[]
- The boss flies upwards, then the map goes dark. He will reappear behind a single player, and clap his hands together to stun them. To avoid this attack, fly away from where you were when the lights went dark.
- Boss uses the skeleton blaster to blast the floor to create an earthquake. To avoid this attack, stay on your hoverboard.
- Skeleton blaster will fly off his arm and chase a random player, player will be thrown if touched. Avoid this attack by using hoverboard to fly away from blaster - after a few moments, blaster will return to Boss.
- Boss will fly at/chase a single player: if caught, player will take some damage. To avoid, fly away from Boss.
- Boss will use skeleton hand to touch the floor to summon other hands. If the player gets caught they will be thrown high in the air, dealing some corruption. To avoid this, start moving as soon as the boss touches the floor.(Phase 3)
- Skeleton blaster will produce a long green laser beam and point it at a single player - player will be corrupted as long as they are being touched by the beam. To avoid this attack, move under or behind Boss.(Phase 3)
- Skeleton blaster will produce a white magnet/tractor beam to pull in a single player. If player is pulled all the way in, they will take some corruption. To avoid this, float on hoverboard in the moat at the edge of the arena - you will get caught on the edge of the floor and will be unable to be pulled in. This does deal some corruption as you are pulled down into the moat, but overall it is less than if you were pulled to the boss.(Phase 3)
Lore[]
Despite being a megaboss in-game, the Hallow is actually a cloud of code who was born during Victoria's manifestation. As such, he is connected to her through lines of code, which is described as "[her] (Victoria) being the joyous and spooky Halloween, while [I] (the Hallow) am the evil of Halloween." Realizing Victoria existed, the Hallow decides to make a "deal" with her when he notices she is building a body; for her to do his bidding, and for him to help her finish building her form. However, this would later turn to him possessing her finished body for his plans to rule the world, as in his point of view it is "saccharine nonsense" that needs to be fixed. Victoria would temporarily break free from his possession during the 2021 Halloween Event, before being presumably repossessed a year later.
Personality wise, The Hallow can be seen as cruel being who is, or views himself, as much powerful compared to others. He often says he is unable to be stopped when it comes to his actions (which is partially true), and often enjoys other people's suffering (including his counterpart Victoria's and possibly the Player). He views himself as superior over Victoria especially, as he openly refers to her as his marionette and talks about how much he enjoys her grief (see previous sentence) despite her technically being apart of him.
