Not to be confused with Backdoor (Board).
The Backdoor is a glitched world in Ghost Simulator. It is separate from the normal world and has been revealed by one of the devs to be the original testing grounds of the game that we (In the lore) weren't supposed to find. If that's true, the explanation behind the Data Stream and Reverse City being an original testing area is unknown, but Reverse City could be a beta version of Blox City that glitched into this world unintentionally.
To access The Backdoor, you need at least antenna level 11 and then get into the cracked wall in Wild West, or Teleport through the spawn teleporter.
In the Backdoor, there is a miniboss called the Anomaly. The Anomaly drops a lootbag that usually only drops gems, but can also contain a legendary hoverboard, Speed, a godly hoverboard, B-L-O-X, or a godly pet, Anomaly.
Although The Backdoor should be impossible to access without Antenna Level 11, Insufficient Antenna Effect is still put in place to prevent any story-skipping (see Biomes).
Shops[]
- The Backdoor Shop sells Disruptors (1-14), Batteries (1-14), and Pet Crates (#8-#11).
- The Winter Tundra Board Shop sells Hoverboard Crates (#5-7).
Biomes[]
Just like the Main Hub, the world has ten normal biomes (unlocked with Antenna Level) and three bonus biomes (unlocked with items). For quests, the biomes are commonly divided into three different areas called routes. The following is a list of biomes in order of unlocking:
- Home Base (Antenna Level 11 Required)
- Swamplands (Antenna Level 11 Required)
First Route[]
- Winter Tundra (Antenna Level 12 Required)
- Mushroom Forest (Antenna Level 13 Required)
- Twisting River (Antenna Level 14 Required)
- Crystal Cave (Bonus Biome)
Second Route[]
- Farm (Antenna Level 15 Required)
- Spaceship (Antenna Level 16 Required)
- Barn (Antenna Level 17 Required)
- Beehive (Bonus Biome)
Third Route[]
- Data Stream (Antenna Level 18 Required)
- Reverse City (Antenna Level 19 Required)
- Agents HQ (Bonus Biome)
- BloxByte HQ (Mini-World) (Antenna Level 20 Required) (required to complete second-to-last quest of Agent Blaze's Questline)
- Once The Final Boss has been defeated, the player can continue on to The Void (Antenna Level 20 Required)
- Keep in mind: Bonus Biomes are not required to be unlocked in order to progress in the game until Antenna Level 20 is reached. Agent Blaze [see section below] requires you to obtain items in bonus biomes in order to complete his tasks. Agent Blaze is is required for you to go into the BloxByte HQ Mini-World as mentioned above.
