You must forgive me for my complacency, as I could not believe you existed before now.

Before I saw you, you were a rumor. A blessing upon our lands, divinity above our own.

Still, you are here to chat. And chatting comes with questing. Hear me.

Crown Jewel

Gather the Pawns and the Painted Roses about my gardens, for some jewels in return.

Gems were always such pretty things, but questing must have a prize of some sort.

Perhaps, one of these quests, will yield you a Pet and Board. We shall see.

Finished, I expect? Good. I can put them to work once more.

These ghosts will labor for the garden's maintenance. I can't have the leaves grow dull.

Without Suite or Soul

Did you know, all Forgotten alike do not exist? At least, not relevantly. I fall into this category.

Unlike most of us Forgotten, when I was created, I never had an identity.

Now, I maintain the title of Queen but beneath that guise is, again, nobody.

Despite this, we still must chat. You will do another quest to move forward.

Collect some currency. Ensure that your equipment is more than efficient.

You return swiftly. If only THEY had such speed and found us sooner...

She's Way Too Cryptic

Those travelers arrived here to discover these ruins.

I do not hate them. I tolerate them and I thank them, unlike my compatriots.

Their intrusion is perhaps obtuse, but their tenacity to understand, to save us... I admire it.

Alas... I must go with my people and they with their own. My loyalty is concrete, you I assure.

A Queen does not get to choose. She gets to predict from her throne and await answers.

So, it is time for someone else to wait for answers. You shall upgrade your antenna.

A more bountiful number of gems will await you.

Hunter, I am Queen.

I have demands that can be fulfilled in an instant and the gardens that I wished for.

But me, the Queen, knows the limits of what I was promised.

The soil all around is not mine, and power is but a barren scepter in my grasp.

However, thinking about a reality where my ambitions are met has been just good.

Endless Stream of You

Them, the Associates. I know their names well. ... I shall explain.

I envy the lives of those who dwell with purpose. But there is only one that I admire.

My dear Rose is the girl who possesses me, and I her. She and I are connected.

When I was without identity, I latched onto her like a sister with arms full.

I was, and am, her tumor. She can see what I see, and I can see what she sees.

Hunter, you stare at me now, as our chat marches on towards its end. Now, for your next task..

You shall bring me 40 Knight Ghosts and 15 Cheshire Ghosts from the courtyard.

These ghosts will make suitable servants. Enough to create your perfect prize.

Do not forget that I promised you a pet and board's splendor during our chat...

I may not have long with this freedom or thought, and their efforts may all be in vain.

Onward, Noble Knight

All that I demand is the simplest of tasks. I demand you listen, and quest for me.

While I demand you empathize with me, I am not deserving of such. She is.

She receives headaches because the Queen demanded for identity.

She receives pain because the Queen selfishly decreed to live. I want to repay her.

And for that, the Associates must meet with my fellow compatriots at the castle.

That is why I made you quest on to the courtyard. I need to see her, and to tell my remorse.

Ribbons will be perfect for some time with her: retrieve some from my garden.

I notice my demands and assertions often do not quite result in concurrence.

Not you, in particular. I cannot read your reactions as much as I’d like to admit.

Perhaps what I believe or say is imperceptive.

Well, if it is so, then so be it. Care if you wish, especially considering what I will say now.

I stray far from my goal. I was merely instructed to guide you to the castle.

Limiting Vision

Perhaps we can discuss the nature of these rings - frequencies limiting vision.

Intriguing to the curious-minded, I expect. I do not know who created them.

The monsters let them spread across the worlds, albeit, their natures are harmless.

The only alteration to one who passes through them is a change of scent.

It is excellent at luring or repelling the ghosts, depending on the scent you pick up.

I wonder why the monsters allowed these rings to exist. …? The people I call ‘monsters’...

I shall tell you more after a quick task. Jump through two nearby rings.

We call them the Funny Five... I call them monsters. What they did...

What I see, through Rose's eyes. You cannot imagine the suffering, and isolation we feel.

Many have been liberated, but some are still forgotten. Like us... like me.

Who knows how many more are still forgotten? Erased and unable to communicate.

I can never forgive them. For what they did to us, to Rose. And if the Associates stand by...

If they let the monsters reign free ever more... I think you now know what my loyalties are for.

I try to stay away from Alice, in fear my mortality will infect her.

She played her games and hurt all those people, but it was necessary.

If it never happened, we, the ashamed and veiled characters would not be free.

We had a reason, unlike those monsters who had no reason to control us, them...

EVERYTHING.. is because of that interchange of visions.

All of it. Before Spades was put in place, a way of receiving information was vital.

I saw your worlds, beyond our reach, through the eyes of a rejected nobody.

I suppose you can say we had a spy in your midst. An unwilling traitor, if you will.

And maybe... I was an unwilling traitor for the Associates.

That is fine. She may wander around my maze of a mind for all eternity, safe in my solace.

For now, you will bring me 50 Bishop Ghosts and 20 Playing Card Ghosts from the castle.

Despite me being Queen, I do not own that castle. Only these gardens.

I tend more to the flowers, the leaves - I require utmost beauty in my presence.

The ghosts may roam free on this domain, because their neutrality is beautiful.

However. I do not mind bothering them: it comes with the price of stepping on 'my' soil.

Luxury, Power

You may be curious about how I obtained my lavish outfit.

I am uncertain: all I remember was wearing plain clothing, then becoming Queen.

The monsters mustn't have had a part in this, for they do not seem to care about us.

Perhaps there are people, somewhere, who tried to give me luxuries in my isolation.

One such luxury... was a necklace I foolishly threw away. Gold and green... Gorgeous...

It would complete my gardens: a centerpiece to be revered. It should be somewhere near.

Find my necklace, somewhere in the jungle. You shall receive jewels of your own.

... I presume you would like to know why I threw away this necklace.

I challenged Phantom over his goal. Many a day ago, when....... Ah, uhm.

Well, he told me about how I, as Queen would be prestigious, and powerful.

I as Queen deserved better, and his goal was the only way to achieve such.

...I initially disagreed. When he gave me the necklace, I threw it away for the vines to devour.

But, as you can clearly see, my mind opened its eyes and trusted him.

I am not in charge of RAM, that would be Phantom. He is... I am unsure how to say.

He is everything to me: without his compassion I would never have escaped my despair.

However, that is all I am thankful for. Once I meet Rose. only our family will tie me to him.

I cannot abandon them, as much as I would like to. Especially my partner.

I cannot bear to think what he would do if I betrayed RAM.

O, how weary talk like that is. Perhaps you can go... there, yes.

For your next task, gain access to his Crypt biome by my gardens.

Rookie Royalty

I like to think our family wanders about my gardens in my absence.

I shall make it most splendorous, and tranquil. The perfect place to rest and clear the mind.

Well, being outside the Phantom Castle will cause a couple screams to be heard...

But still! Calmer than other regions around the worlds. I demand- no- I shall make it so.

Let us return to my small tangent of sentiment. About the crypt, yes.

There should be an abundance of Rooks and Wisp Candles in there, for I do not pester them.

Please clean it up, Hunter. You will, of course, receive some more gems.

I am proud of how he grew up with us. That smile and glee and charm...

I would not miss it for the world.

Perhaps I would not have said that when I joined RAM, and met him.

RAM is my family, and there is no-one else I have to consider otherwise.

After all, my first moments alive were in a dark, isolated place. Terrified and vulnerable.
