Inv Pug Common
(Common)

Inv Mouse Uncommon
(Uncommon)
Slightly harder to obtain than common. Also often obtained via crates. Uncommon tag is solid green.
Inv Duck Rare
(Rare)
Harder to obtain than uncommon. Obtainable through codes, some quests, and crates. Rare tag is solid light blue.
Inv Bat Legendary
(Legendary)
Even harder to obtain than rare. Obtainable through codes, many quests, The Limited Shop, and crates. Legendary tag is solid magenta.
Inv Lantern Godly
(Godly)
The third hardest to obtain, yet with the most sources. Obtainable through codes, quests, The Limited Shop, and crates. Godly tag is solid red.
Inv 8 Bit (Pet) Mythical
(Mythical)
The second hardest to obtain. Obtainable only through quests and special crates (i.e. Great Guardian Chest, etc.). People often go to great lengths to obtain mythical pets. Mythical tag is a cycled rainbow.
Inv Rainwave Classified
(Classified)
Consider yourself lucky. Classified items are only obtainable through some Ghost World Quests (i.e. Yoko, Fern, Gatekeeper, etc.) and Crates, many with odds in the 0.001% range. Classified tag is cycled from purple to dark blue.
Inv Mini Final Corrupted
(Corrupted)
Consider yourself (kind of) lucky. You need to get a BloxByte Key from the Developers mega-boss, which is the toughest mega-boss in the game, and unbox it from the Developer Key Crates. Corrupted tag is cycled from a turquoise to a dark navy blue. An interesting thing about the Corrupted tag is when you go onto a pet/hoverboard with the corrupted rarity, then go onto a different one that doesn't have corrupted rarity, the color of the corrupted tag will stay; it is unknown whether this is intentional, like in a way how it is "corrupting" other pets and boards, or if it's just a bug.
Inv Spirit Seer Divine
(Divine)
Introduced in the Rebirth Update; the new pinnacle to a ghost hunter's path of completion, currently there are 3 pets and 3 boards have this rarity (Oculus Overseer (pet), Spirit Seer (pet), Infernal Seer (pet), Spirit Flight (board), Ghostly Glider (board) and Valiant Stinger (board)). The only way to obtain these items is by selecting the Divine Set perk when you rebirth. Divine tag is solid yellow.
