Pet Storage can be accessed by clicking the Inventory button on the right side of the screen, and selecting the "Pets" tab at the top of the window. New players will see a message "You don't have any pets! Pets can be purchased at the lab."
New players start with 50 available pet spaces in their inventory. They do not start the game with any starter pets, leaving them with a 0/50 inventory.
Below are ways to gain additional pet storage:
- +25 Pet Storage, rewarded by Ghost Hunter Mikayla (added v1.115.0)
- +50 Pet Storage, rewarded by Ghost Hunter Joven (added v1.41.0)
- +100 Pet Storage, rewarded by Ghost Hunter Boven (added v1.56.0)
- +125 Pet Storage, rewarded by Blaze (Remnant) (added v1.151.0)
- +100 Pet Storage Gamepass
- +150 Pet Storage Gamepass
- +500 Pet Storage Gamepass
As of v1.161.0, the max Pet Storage a player can obtain is 1100 spaces, with 1080 different pets released in-game.
As of update v1.127.0, the layout of the Inventory screens were changed, making it more rectangular and giving "Items" its own tab.
Trivia[]
- Players with a max (filled) inventory cannot unbox more pet crates in The Lab or receive pets from trades until they have empty space again. They can, however, still receive pets from opening lootbags or completing NPC questlines, allowing them to temporarily exceed their inventory space.
- Other players' pet storage can be viewed by clicking the trade button on the right side (looks like two orange arrows) and then clicking the "View Inventory" button. Players whose inventories are hidden do not have this button. Players can hide their own inventory by clicking the settings button on the right side (looks like a gray gear) and then toggling the option for Hide Inventory to "Enabled".
- The ability to hide your own inventory was released in update v1.92.0.
- In v1.161.0, the base Pet Storage was increased from 30 to 50, and the 70 Pet Storage Gamepass was increased to 100 Pet Storage.
