The Particle Accelerator is a perk obtained by completing Ghost Hunter Billy's questline. It speeds up the vacuum/disruptor by an additional 50% for each currently unused vacuum stream. This boost is applied to all ghosts that are currently being vacuumed/vaporized. It also speeds up the vacuum/disruptor while vacuuming the same Ghosts. This upgrade only applies to regular ghosts (not Event Ghosts or Lucky Cat) and has no effect on any form of Boss (i.e. Mega Bosses, Mini Bosses, Bosses).
