Ghostly Puzzle

Cheshire at the end of the Ghostly Puzzle.

The Ghostly Puzzle is a mini puzzle in the Ghost World that was introduced in v1.103.0. It is required to reach Ghost Hunter Cheshire, and to obtain the Ghostly Puzzle Key, which allows the player to bypass the puzzle.

It consists of:

• Find (and click on) the button which allows access to other puzzle components.
• Find and convert the numbers and/or letters behind the Ghost World NPCs through ASCII to find the letters (which are then converted into numbers by how they would appear on a standard phone keypad layout) and numbers and then order them by increasing order of the NPCs' release versions.
• Levers
• Maze
• Find the numbers hidden around the Ghost World and use remnant gum to spot their colour, and then click on the colours that are shown in increasing order based on the numbers.
• This unlocks the Ghostly Puzzle Key, allowing for quick and easy access to the NPC at the end, Cheshire.

Below are the instructions for the Ghost World Puzzle.

Note: Currently, it does not explain the entire solving process (to be added).

Number Code

There will be a button outside on the left wall of the Haunted Castle. Clicking it will unlock an entrance to a door that needs a code to unlock. The code for the door is encoded in the numbered squares behind each NPC. These numbers each stand for a different ASCII character and when decoded and placed in order of the NPC's release spell out "May 3 2019". Then using a standard phone keypad layout to convert the letters to numbers it gets translated to 62932019 which is the code to unlock the door. Then by pressing the button, the door will unlock.

Levers

After going through the door, you will see 7 levers. Pulling down the green and dark blue ones and pressing the button will unlock the next section.

Maze

There will then be a maze. The directions are as follows (Turn left, where you will encounter a hallway with three path's to go down, turn down the first path, you will encounter a hallway with two paths, turn down the first path (right), encountering another hallway with three paths, turn down the first path on your right side, from there follow the path straight from there until you reach the last puzzle.)

Colour Code

This is another code panel, which needs a sequence of six colors to unlock. This sequence comes from the number squares 1 through 6, which, when viewed using Remnant Gum, have different colored text. This color sequence when enter in the order of the wire tracing from the door (Green, Light Blue, Yellow, (bottom starting on the right), Pink, Pink, Red) will unlock the final door to the puzzle.

After you have completed the final puzzle you will be given the Ghostly Puzzle Key, which can be used to open an entryway on the opposite side of the castle to access Cheshire without having to redo the puzzle.

Biome Notes

Reminder: Remnant Gum must be used to see the color of the numbers, otherwise they appear black.
