Ghost Hunter Rowan (or Rowan Yamada) is an NPC located in the Data Stream in the Backdoor that was added in Version 1.45.0. Upon completing his questline, the player is awarded with the Overcharge upgrader.

Introduction	Hello, Ghost Hunter! I've been waiting to meet you. Ghost Hunter Luna talks about you all the time! I've been working on something special for you. It's an Overcharge Power Up! You'll be able to wipe out all the ghosts in an area at once. It'll change the game, Ghost Hunter. I'd love to just give it to you, but I need help building it first. Ghost Hunter Luna said you can help me. Will you do it, Ghost Hunter?
#1 Surfin' the Web	Excellent! Let's get cracking! To make the Overcharge Power Up, I'll need a lot of power. That's where you come in. Vaporize some Web Surfer Ghosts and Binary Ghosts. That's not all. I'll also need you to obtain 30 USBs. Once you finish, come back for your reward.	Hmm... That should help power it, but that likely won't be enough. Here's your reward!
#2 Now Streaming	I have to say you've been quite impressive so far. Let's see if you can keep up the pace! I need you to collect 5,000,000 Ecto-Bits for the Overcharge Power Up! After you've collected 'em head back here and I'll give you a reward.	Wow! I think you managed to complete this task even faster than the last! Congrats! Here's your reward.
#3 Cyber Companion	You seem stressed... you know what, I think you need a new friend! Before I have you collect anything else for the Overcharge Power Up I want you to obtain a new pet. After you've opened Pet Crate #10 once come back, and I'll give you a reward for practicing self-care.	Aren't therapy animals the best? Take care of yourself. Here's that reward I promised.
#4 Data Hopping	The Data Stream can be a scary place when you're still getting used to the surroundings. Let's find out how well you've explored the area. I wanna see you jump through the Green Ring. Pull it off, and I'll give you a reward.	Wow! I can't believe you actually survived... I didn't think that was possible. Anyway here's your reward.
#5 Part Upgrade I	Ghost Hunter, I think it's time I filled you in. When the others were taken through the rift, I glitched out. I ended up in Reverse City, and while messing with the code there I found some valuable info. Communication is vital, so I need you to upgrade your Antenna. Afterwards come back here and I'll give you a reward.	Great work! Here's your reward. Upgrading your antenna is super important...
#6 City Slicker	Only Ghost Hunter Luna and Ghost Hunter Leo were able to intercept my message from Reverse City. Luckily they were able to use it to open the Backdoor. Reverse City isn't a fun place to be. I should know; when I glitched out of the Rift, I was stuck there. I wandered Reverse City alone for quite some time. Luckily that's when I learned how to mess with code. Perhaps you could learn something in Reverse City too. Why not go vaporize some ghosts there! Oh and while you're there pick up some Ecto-Coffees to boost your mood! Once you've finished, return to me for a reward!	Did you learn anything exciting throughout your exploration of Reverse City? #7 Flashdrive Recovery	Bad news, Ghost Hunter. When I fell through the Rift, I dropped my Flashdrive. The hard drive contains a special code that might be able to help us break into BloxByte HQ. I have to say you've been quite impressive so far. Let's see if you can keep up the pace! I need you to find my Flashdrive and return for a reward.	Welcome back! #8 Part Upgrade II	Ghost Hunter, in order for me to create the Overcharge Power Up, you need a better antenna. I need you to be able to go even further in the area to find some rare materials. So you'll need to upgrade your Antenna. After you're done, come back for a reward.	Excellent! Ghost Hunter Luna was right to put her faith in you! Here, take some Gems. It's not much, but it's a lot in the Reverse city.
#9 Anti-Virus	Guess what, Ghost Hunter. You're moving up in the world! Ghost Hunter Luna said it's time to move in on the BloxByte HQ. It's time to test your skills. #10 Training Grounds	The next materials I need are going to be more difficult to collect. You'll need to train. Prove to me that you're ready by completing the Reverse City Obby. #11 Access Granted	Ready, Ghost Hunter? We have intel confirming that one of the parts I need is in the Agents HQ. Unfortunately, the Agents HQ was infiltrated by the Devs not long before you showed up. I need you to open the wall to the Agents HQ. After you're done, come back for a reward. Remember, Ghost Hunter, this is a quick in-and-out mission. Open the door and come back. No need to get in any unneeded fights.	Glad to see you again! I trust you didn't start any fights at the HQ. Here's the aforementioned reward.
#12 Going Undercover	So the next material I need is something called a Moon Badge. Have you seen them yet? They're in the Agents HQ, but they're being guarded. I need you to collect 100 Moon Badges. I also need you to take out the guards. Vaporize some RAM Ghosts and Programmer Ghosts. Then, hurry back and I'll give you a reward. Also, Ghost Hunter, be careful. The Agents HQ is now very dangerous.	I knew you could do it! With you on our side, we have a fighting chance. Enjoy your reward, Ghost Hunter.
#13 Internet Explorers	The ghosts seem agitated. They're aware that we're here and are on high alert. Ghost Hunter, vaporize ghosts from the Reverse City, Data Stream, BloxByte HQ, and Agents HQ. Originally, Rowan was that he would be Blaze’s and Shelly’s cousin. This was scrapped for unknown reasons.
