Introduction |
Ah Ghost Hunter! I'm glad to see you around here. I'm Julianna! I've been wanting to meet you for a bit now, I've got some tasks for you to help me out with. I've also got some hoverboard storage that I plan to give you in return. It's neat isn't it? I'll explain more later, but for now I really need some help. Please? Don't worry these quests will be fun. Trust me, Ghost Hunter! | |
#1
Data Collecting |
You're probably wondering where you know me from, right? We've got the same clothes... and green hair, same glasses too... Nothing? Oh, you don't speak, well you've probably met my brother Julian! I'm his 'twin sister', you could say, we're not technically related, but it sure feels like it. We're related in many ways, even linked in some aspects. More on that later, gotta save the interesting stuff for later. If I told you everything now we'd probably have nothing to talk about later on. Hmm, let's be methodical about this, we'll start with collecting 50 Datachips. Get back soon, I've got some gems to tide you over. |
Awesome, that was really quick Ghost Hunter! You're going to get that hoverboard storage in no time. |

Expected identifier when parsing function |
So back to Julian, you can probably already tell the difference between us. He gives you tasks as if on a loop, his interactions with you aren't too different every time. While, I, on the other hand, am talking to you right now, with different interactions. It's not his fault, he's really nice, and I'm sure he has nothing against you Ghost Hunter! It's just that his programming is a little 'different' from mine. Me and him are built from the same code, but the devs had done something different with me. Even though we're different like that, he's still my brother. Anyways, where were we? Oh tasks, yes! So to get some more hoverboard storage, let's fill your current storage up first! I know it doesn't make sense, but just go open some hoverboard crates and get back. |
Oooh those are some nice looking boards. Here's some crate keys to make up for all that unboxing. |
#3
Julianna's tasks |
Now what I mean with Julian's 'different' code is that we were developed differently. As NPCs, the devs had created us by hand, it's kinda cool! Julian came before me, and I was created as the improvement of his code. But I never seem myself as better than him. So, because my code was different, I turned out to be the person standing in front of you. However, with Julian, I don't believe who he is, is all down to his code. Just because he was created in this 'robotic' way, doesn't mean he can't change as a person. That's why I'm so happy to see you Ghost Hunter, you're gonna help me, and Julian too! Let's refocus, I want you to jump through the green ring and do the Mushroom Obby. That should be enough for you to check out the Mushroom forest, I've got more gems! |
Ok, Mushroom Forest, check! Here's those gems that I promised. |
#4
Standing there, menacingly |
As I said, Ghost Hunter, you're going to help me, help Julian. I plan to do this by watching. I've got hoverboard storage for you, but I have other plans. Watching you and how you interact, the way you just act overall. You are the player after all, who's better at being more human then you? I've tried to help Julian many times before this, looking for you wasn't my first idea. I'll get into all of that later, I don't like reminiscing on it, but you might as well know. So the Twisting River's next on the list...hmmm...not much to do there right? I guess we'll work with the ghosts, Vaporize 20 glitcher ghosts and 30 water spirit ghosts. Get back to me when you've finished with that, I've got gums for you! |
Here's those gums, they'll come handy for my next task! |
#5
Error 404 |
A while back, not too long after they created me, I knew I had to help him. I could see in his eyes, in his actions, I saw something in Julian. So that was what made me see that there's a Julian in there, waiting to see the world. To see the world with his own eyes... So after that, I took it upon myself to help my brother, why wouldn't I? My first attempt was to tamper with his code, not my best idea. Since we came from the same code, I was sure to have some idea of what's going on in him. Some idea of how I could change him... ... We'll continue this later, we've got to get somewhere with these tasks! Collect 60 crystals from the Crystal Cave, see what I meant with that loot gum? Get going, Ghost Hunter! |
Those crystals are really pretty! So shiny and blue... Here's a reward, it's gems! |
#6
Code switching |
To tamper with his code was risky, oh so very risky. We are made and defined by our code, but it's something that is so fragile. One thing could ruin the whole system, then becomes a shell. A husk of his former self. I was naive, and still relatively new to this world, and the idea of being made by code. So I tried it anyway, and it didn't go well. When I tried to change things, I felt his pain. Every error I made, every line of code that I failed, I felt it in me. I realized that we were linked in more ways than just sharing the same base code. His pain is my pain, I feel his struggle and sorrow, all the time. I had luckily managed to revert it back, I got so lucky, I was so close to losing him. That's what made me try different things, I was not going to lose my brother to my hand... Anyway, we gotta focus, vaporize 20 Crazy Cow ghosts. |
Great! You're doing a great job Ghost Hunter Here's some nice crate keys, and don't forget about that hoverboard storage either! |
#7
Foreign Code |
You probably want to know a bit more about how me and Julian came about right? Don't worry, I'd be interested too, it's interesting. Now I only know bits and pieces of the story, no one's actually outright told to me. The parts I do know is that the 'Base code' I kept talking about, is quite different to the others. Me and Julian's code is not from this game, maybe even this world I think. Have you heard of these other two? The ones not from here. Their presence perplexed the developers, so, in an attempt to grasp some sort of idea on it... ...The developers tried to replicate and study their code, and their vessel for it? Julian. Well at least their 'first' attempt. Speaking of 'outside this world, we've got the Spaceship to check out! Find Billy's pitchfork and use the gum machine I feel bad taking it but I want to change things up for this task, we'll give it back later. I've got some more gum! I've always wondered what these taste like actually... |
Here's some of those gums. The bunny one is fun to mess around with! Let's keep it going! |
#8
Superseding |
When Julian was created, his interaction and personality was somewhat strange. He was quite distant and didn't interact much outside of a few actions, this wasn't intended. After realizing this issue, the developers tried again. This code truly confused them, they had to try again to learn what this was all about. That's where I came in! That was me,making changes on the area in which Julian struggled is what resulted in me. I'm grateful to the developers for my creation, I wouldn't be here if not for them. So because of that, both of us simply exist here now. As vessels for this new found code the developers are still yet to grasp the concept of. Uh, oh! Back to questing! Collect 50 Hay Bales, and come back for some gems |
Things are looking good! Here's those gems. |
#9
A debt unfulfilled |
Now you know how Julian and I were created. When we were created, I stuck with him, since he is my brother and we're linked together. After the code attempt I sought out more ways to help him, but didn't amount to much. I stayed in the backdoor, if there was any sort of fix, I was sure it'd be here of all places. I want to help Julian as much as I can, I feel I owe it to him. He doesn't deserve to be stuck the way he is, and I'm sure I...I mean we! Can help him. You as a person are the best example to help him, we can give him that essence he longs for. That essence that frees him from the code based prison he's circumscribed to. So let's keep going, we have to vaporize 20 Honeydrop ghosts and 15 Bee ghosts. |
That's some more vaporizing done, good work. Here's some event bait for you! |
#10
Script extraction |
I've actually got a personal task that I want you to run for me, please. The way I accessed Julian's code was by unconventional means. I used this keyboard to help change some stuff, I want you to collect that for me Ghost Hunter. After what happened last time, and the times I tried before, I want that stuff gone. I don't want him near that, and I don't want to ever try it again, no matter how desperate I am. Please, grab my keyboard and bring it back. I'll remove it and make sure it's gone. |
Thanks for doing that for me Ghost Hunter, it means a lot. Here's some gems for it. |
#11
An anomalous result |
One thing that has perplexed me is the anomaly, his code is all shaky and unstable. I have considered the prospect of using him to help Julian. However, I think I should try to stay away from his code for now. That's why I'm trying with you, your interactions with a boss are interesting... The hostility of the boss itself change the way you respond to its attacks. This could be helpful for Julian, even if it isn't I want to try. So you remember that event bait I gave you earlier? Don't tell me you used it all. You're gonna fight the Anomaly boss, I know you'll be fine fighting it. I've got some crate keys and lootbags to give you for this! |
Wow Ghost Hunter! What a fight. I loved watching that, I almost forgot to take notes for Julian! |
#12
Advances |
I've actually thought about this for a while, I've had ideas on how to describe this. Like this whole situation with me and Julian and what I'm trying to do. Julian's code left his manner and state almost 'robotic' so to say, he's phlegmatic. However, with me, being the advancement of his struggles, I am more human in my ways. I've come to see myself as almost like an 'android'. It's a bit strange to put these labels, but it makes sense if you think about it. My goal is to help Julian break free and be like me, see the world his own way. To feel these complex emotions I can... Ghost Hunter, your help here is hopefully one step closer to helping Julian. We must keep going! Vaporize 30 Web Surfer and Binary ghosts and get back! |
Here's gems for you, you're close and close to that hoverboad storage. |
#13
Release |
Our time nearly draws to a close Ghost Hunter, there's only so much I can ask you to do. This either works for Julian or it doesn't, either way, I'm not backing down. Hopefully I can help him without hurting him again, like last time. I felt that pain, and it left a scar, it was something I never want to feel again, or have him feel. So whatever I can do to help my brother, I will do it. He doesn't deserve to suffer more. Whenever you leave on the quest I've given you I go back to him, check on him every time. Julian is important to me, he's the only family I have, and the only person I owe so much to. Ghost Hunter, I can't thank you enough, let's keep going and finish this, for Julian. The reverse city could be useful Complete the Reverse City Obby. |
And with that, we move to my final task I have for you! Here's some gems. |
#14
Error: Line 14 expected function |
Ghost Hunter, I can't thank you enough for helping me. Even with incentive, there's still the sentiment behind it all, you are truly caring. After this much progress I hope it works. If it doesn't, I will keep searching, and keep on searching after that, for some way to help him. Ghost Hunter for my final task, Iwant to make sure I can reach you. If this doesn't work, and I can't find anything, I'd need someone to help me. Upgrade your antenna to level 20, you'll access to the BloxByte HQ. Then you would have done all I could ask you to do. Once you do this, that hoverboard storage would be yours and our time would be up. |
You've done it, and that's our time together finished. Ghost Hunter, I can't possibly thank you enough for being willing to help my brother and me. Your will to be compassionate drives me to keep searching to help Julian. So here's that hoverboard storage I promised you, and once again... Thank you. |
