Ghost Hunter Gabe (or Gabriel) is a NPC located in the Forest area. Being the first NPC encountered by the player, his questline serves as an introductory tutorial to the game.

Character Summary[]
Gabe is a easy-going, friendly NPC who introduces the Player to the world of Ghost Simulator. Informing them on how to equip their Vacuum and vacuum ghosts, selling their ectoplasm, and buying new Packs and Vacuums with Ecto-Tokens, he guides the Player through the basics of the game's mechanics. At the end of the questline, the Player upgrades their Antenna to Level 2, and goes on to the Blox City. Gabe also comments about the presumed disappearence of Ghost Hunter Blaze, claiming to not having seen him in a while.

Character Summary[]
Gabe is now sentient, aware that he is a character in a video game (thanks to Ghost Hunter Riley and Ghost Hunter Jax, presumably). Despite this, he's curious about what life will be like for him, describing this feeling as "being alive". He also questions if people still want to remain friends with him due to his awakening, though later reiterates that Ghost Hunter Jesse is one of his "real friends", and wants to meet the Developers to thank them for all the friends he has.

Acorn Knit Cap Location[]
Gabe's Acorn Knit Cap can be found in the Farm, near the right of the Beehive. It is hidden behind some wheat.
Swamplands Dialogue[]

Character Summary[]
Gabe frequently glitches throughout this questline, stuttering on his sentences, repeating dialogue from his previous questlines (while still in his glitchy manner), and occasionally becoming robotic in tone and giving code errors. This is implied to have been passed down onto him from Riley when she was in a buggy state, the glitching only being visible when he gained sentience.
Regardless, Gabe has shown an admiration towards Riley, joining the Associates of the Forgotten (whom he seems to still be warming up to), and assisting with their research in gathering remnants of code in the Backdoor. He describes his glitches as being "stuck", or like an itch he has to succumb to and scratch. When he's glitching out visibly, in his headspace he feels as he's in a colorful, neon coastline, the waves being his glitches as they pull back and crash forward with just as much damage as before.
His glitch episodes worsen as the questline goes on, his goggles filling with static as he'll say little-to-nothing, and the Player's (and Gabe's) only hint of what the assigned task is being from voice messages sent by Ghost Hunter Archimedes. A brief cameo from Cat, the "frizzy lass" mentioned in Agent Blaze's dialogue, gives Gabe a voice of encouragement in these voice messages, to little success. By his last quest, Gabe has returned to his conscious state, and thanks the Player for helping the Associates, who are simply misunderstood due to their pasts of being forgotten.
It is also revealed Gabe's full name is "Gabriel", and that he enjoys eating acorns, much to Riley's judgement. He also describes having been in the Winter Tundra, trying to search for Riley for when the Developers isolated Riley due to her buginess, not wanting for her to be alone in the cold.
