A ghost is an NPC that players are to vacuum or vaporize in order to collect Ectoplasm or Ecto-Bits.
Behavior[]
Each biome in the Main Hub, the Backdoor, and the Remnant Zone spawn two different types of ghosts, with one type having a Common rarity and the other being Special. Biomes in the Ghost World contain four or six types, and biomes in the the Void contain only one type. Most ghosts spawn in groups of two or three.
The main objective, in all worlds except the Backdoor, is to vacuum or ghosts to collect Ectoplasm. When a normal ghost is vacuumed, it will fill the player's pack with Ectoplasm, which could be sold at a selling station. Each pet equipped will gain 1 experience point, and they have a chance of dropping gems or the biome's unique item. Most ghosts in the Main Hub also have a chance of dropping Antenna Parts.
Ghosts in the Backdoor function differently from the other ghosts in that the player is tasked with vaporizing the ghosts with a disruptor rather than vacuuming them. Rather than filling the Player's pack, vaporizing a ghost depletes the player's battery. The disruptor will not work if the battery is fully depleted, so the player must return to the Home Base. Upon vaporizing a ghost, the player is awarded with Gems, Advanced Parts or the biome's unique item.
It is noted that ghosts in locked Biomes (ones that are too high of an Antenna level) are significantly more transparent and darker than ones in unlocked biomes. This is an indicator that these ghosts are locked, and cannot be vacuumed or vaporized even if the player has their vacuum or disruptor equipped. (Also note that you cannot pull your vacuum or disruptor in a normal circumstance in a locked biome. The only time you can is when a Boss [see section below] is present in the biome.)
Bosses[]

Bosses are larger ghosts found only in the Main Hub, and spawn periodically during events. There are a total of six bosses, and they spawn periodically on a rotation. Unlike regular ghosts, a boss' health bar is expressed as a percentage. When its health bar reaches 0%, the player's pack fills completely and they are awarded with a unique Boss Chest. Bosses only appear in the Main Hub, but they behave exactly the same as a Mini Bosses. Bosses will temporarily unlock a biome so that players with insufficient antennas may access it until the boss is defeated or the time expires, but the ghosts in there will still be locked, and will not be able to be vacuumed. Once the boss is defeated or the time expires, the place will wait about three seconds before shutting down again for any player whose antenna level is too low for, and will suffer the Insufficient Antenna Effect.
Mini Bosses[]

Mini Bosses are a special type of boss that spawn periodically and function very similarly to bosses. The Ghost World, the Backdoor, and the Remnant Zone contain one normal mini-boss each, and upon defeating them, players are awarded with a lootbag. The former two, along with the Main Hub, each contain a Ghostly Vision Mini Boss and the Remnant Zone contains 3. Unlike Bosses, Mini Bosses do not temporarily unlock the biome for players of insufficient antennas. The biome will remain locked, and it is the player's responsibility to unlock it on their own in order to access any mini bosses that appear in there. However, it is possible to shoot the mini boss with the Photon Blaster from a biome that you do have unlocked in order to get the rewards. For example, a player has a Level 11 Antenna. An anomaly appears in the farm. Farm requires Antenna Level 15, but the player may still shoot the anomaly from the swamp as long as they don't cross the farm entrance or else they will suffer the Insufficient Antenna Effect.
Mega Bosses[]
Mega Bosses are bosses that have the ability to "win" against the player, thus being the toughest enemies of the game. There are only four active mega-bosses: one in the Ghost World, one in the Backdoor (BloxByte HQ, accessible through a portal behind Agent Blaze), one in the Void and one in the Remnant Zone. These bosses have their own unique attacks that must be studied and avoided by the player. When a player gets successfully attack by a mega-boss, their "Corruption" meter goes down. When that corruption meter reaches 100%, the player gets teleported back to the mega-boss area. Each mega-boss has their own unique reward when defeated.
