Ectoplasm is a source from ghosts that can be obtained by defeating Ghosts. It is able to be exchanged at the selling area for Ecto-Tokens, the main currency for the game. In the Ghost World, they sell for souls instead. The Ectoplasm that players can hold has a set capacity based on their pack, and can be increased by purchasing a pack with higher storage. Ectoplasm is nonexistent in The Backdoor; being replaced with Battery Charge.
