Introduction |
Oh hey guys. My name is Developer Thexz. I make the GFX and renders for Ghost Simulator. It’s so cool that I get to meet you guys! Well, it was less cool that you guys beat us up. But, still! Do you watch our youtube channel? That’s right. We have one. It’s called JD. I run it with Didi1147.

The Passcode |
Anyway, I’m surprised you made it here. I thought we blocked it off pretty good. Either way, you’re here now. Unfortunately, I can’t talk to you yet. The group and I decided that we needed to verify you weren’t a part of whatever is in that castle. To verify you, MakkieMon has an important passcode I need to unlock this information. Don’t worry, it shouldn’t be too hard to get from them. I believe in you! Go get the passcode from MakkieMon. Then, return here. If you get it, I might have a reward for you. |
Good, now that they verified you, I know I can trust you. Here’s a reward for your loyalty. |
#2
Friends? |
Oh, I know what you want. More tasks and more rewards. I also used to help with implementing the questlines. I know your type, haha. It’s kind of weird we’re not acting like NPCs in our own game, right? I always thought I’d want to be friends with NPCs, but Blaze started to be paranoid of us. Then, Luna started the uprising. We weren’t sure what to do. I thought it’d be a cool idea to get a spy on the inside to let us know what’s going on. Then, we’d be able to prepare for our NPCs suddenly becoming aware, so we reached out to Ace. Oops, I can’t tell you everything right away. You gotta do some tasks first. Quick! Go collect some Ghosts. Come back for a reward. |
Aw, that’s awesome. You actually did the task I sent you on. Much appreciated. Here’s the reward! |
#3
Ace Behind The Scenes |
Right, we were talking about Ace! So... We reached out to him aaaaaaand... That kind of backfired. Apparently, some of the other npcs weren’t very nice to him. Seee... in the real plot of Ghost Simulator, he was supposed to be the villain turned hero support. But you never got to play it because the NPCs became aware and started making their own storyline. I kind of didn’t realize that he may have had some bad code in him already and... By reaching out, we spiked a series of events that wasn’t meant for this plot. Because of this... He ended up causing the Ghost portal to explode. We just wanted it so the NPCs couldn’t get in. And, I didn’t expect it to... separate everyone. I felt so bad... T_T I’m new to learning code. I may have put in the wrong event and caused the whole Ace story arc. Buuuuuuut I did bring him to our side, even if it was an accident. So, I didn’t mess up that bad, right? Uuuuh, I need to think on a few things. Why don’t you go collect some Gems! reward when you return |
Sweet! You got them! Here's that reward. |
#4
Backstory |
So, yeah. Surprise! Ace isn’t who he was meant to be. Well, technically no one is. Everyone’s code has changed thanks to them becoming aware. We don’t know what’s true to their memories and what’s false anymore. They’re like real people. I mean Luna wasn’t even supposed to exist. She was only made to stop the aware NPCs. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not upset about her existing, but we created her to solve a problem. Then, she turned on us. To be fair, I wouldn’t like being told what to do either but... Are we really bad people? We just wanted to make a game together. We had fun making a game. Then, it came alive. Which was COOL! But, also scary. I don’t want to be enemies. None of the Devs want this. We tried to reach out to different NPCs to talk. We managed to talk to Jax. I need a moment to gather my thoughts. Go jump through the blue ring and return for a reward. |
Haha, I thought I hid that blue ring pretty well. You smell like sea water now... Anyway, here’s your reward.. |
#5
Sweetheart |
Right, so we reached out to Jax. She understood our point of view. She wanted to help us fix everything or at least talk to the other NPCs. She especially wanted to help Ace. She knew he was suffering with the mixed code in him. It was part corruption and part good. I had no clue how to fix it. I tried... She came to help us. We were so grateful there was an NPC that didn’t hate us. She was really sweet, too. She wasn’t mad at all. She tried to reason with the other Agents as well. She understood that we were feeling cornered and worried about this creation we made. I think we became great friends, too. She’s actually been the one negotiating the truce between the NPCs and us right now. You noticed they’re not attacking us, right? Yeah, that’s her and CovenK working together. That’s enough for now. I need work on detecting what’s in that castle with Goro7. For now, go collect some Ghosts. There’ll be a reward for you. |
Thaaaaaaank you! It’s so cool you guys are helping us out. Here’s that reward. |
#6
Maze Puzzle? |
There’s definitely something weird going on in that castle. It’s been weird since we got here. Yeah, we got here right after the final boss fight. We needed a place to regain our strengths. The main room was locked and there’s some sort of maze puzzle inside. We didn’t know what would happen if we solved it so we just locked it up. There was some really weird code in it. We hadn’t seen it before. And, that’s kind of scary considering we made the game. I’m gonna keep investigating it. In the meantime, why don’t you go collect some gems. I’ll have a reward ready for you. |
Perfect! Thank you. These will help me with my investigation! Thanks player. Here’s that reward. |
#7
Forgiven |
I actually just talked things over with Ace again. He seems okay with what happened. I hope he forgives me in the future. He was pretty curious on who he actually was meant to be. He was actually my favourite character in our old plot. I’m glad he at least understands now. So, with that out in the open, do you mind running a few more errands for me? I need more samples to test the aura around the castle. Can you fetch me more ghosts? Might have a reward for you. Haha, I thought that’d get your attention. |
You are the beeeeeeest. This will work perfectly. Take that reward. |
#8
Digital Remnant |
Okay, so here’s the important part. We’re gonna get into that castle and fight the boss. Waaaaait... wait. Don’t rush off yet. Jeez, you’re excited for that boss. There’s something you need to know first. To get in, you need a key. The key is made up of 5 remnants of code. Each developer hid their remnant. It looks like a puzzle piece. Now, I hid mine somewhere on this island. I forgot where... oops. Could you find my Digital Remnant? Yes, another reward follows. |
Yaaaaaas, you found it. Now you just need to get the other four pieces! Then, you can go into the castle. But I warn you, there is some sort of puzzle in there... Wait! Don’t forget your reward! |
#9
The Resolution |
Alright, this is the big quest. Yep, you’ve heard me. You’re going into that castle! You’re gonna defeat that boss and we’re all going to help you! That’s right! The Agents, the Ghost Hunters, the Devs... All of us! We’re gonna come right in with you... right after you solve the puzzle, haha. Then, we’re all fighting that boss together! More reward to come! |
YES! That is what I’m talking about! We did it! You did it. That fight was pretty cool. And, it actually worked. We were united to fight a common enemy. We didn’t even realize we were working together so well. Thanks for everything, Ghost Hunter. Take this reward as thanks for everything! |

Introduction |
Hey, Ghost Hunter. How are you enjoying the party? It's so cool seeing all the NPCs we made when we're not fighting something. Or each other. I'm still getting used to it, but I like who they are now. They're all so unique and full of life. They're alive. That's pretty mind boggling. They've taken the game in so many new directions. I mean, one of those directions was inciting revolution, but that was kind of our fault too. And now it's getting better, and everyone's working on getting along! Ghost Simulator's plot is growing organically, and the NPCs are doing amazing things with it. It's all uphill from here, and I can't wait to see what they do next.

Hold on, I gotta get in on Didi1147's video. It's about time for your task anyways. Go and defeat 5 bosses. There's gonna be a reward when you're done! |
Yessssss you were so fast! Did you have fun? I hope you did. If not, there's plenty of other people you can talk to for more tasks. Thank you so much, Ghost Hunter, for sticking with us to one hundred updates and beyond. Here's a little reward for everything! |
