Introduction |
So you finally made it to our hidden world. Welcome to the Void. We knew you’d find us eventually. You’ve figured out everything else we’ve done here. Quicker than I thought actually... I guess I should introduce myself. I’m Developer Goro7. I program everything in Ghost Simulator. All the UI, tools, numbers, that’s me. I’ve definitely had fun and learned a lot from it... But, I didn’t expect our game to come alive and turn on us. What developer would?

The Passcode |
Before I can go into all of this, Thexz has an important passcode I need to unlock this information. We did this to make sure whatever is in that strange castle doesn’t try to affect us. It’s how we know who we can trust. You’ll need to first. Go get the passcode from Thexz. Then, come back to me. If you get it, I’ll know I can trust you.. |
Good, now that they verified you, I know I can trust you. Here’s a reward for your loyalty. |

Hello, I am Goro7 |
Don’t think I don’t know why you sat here and listened to me. You’re hoping I’ll give you a task and reward. Oh, how the tables have turned. Here we are being the NPCs now. Want to hear my side of the story? Go collect some Tech Ghosts. Don’t worry, I’m the programmer. I can just script you in a reward later. |
Look who’s back already. I was kind of hoping that’d take you longer. You guys always zoom through tasks like they’re nothing. Like seriously, we spend weeks on these questlines and you guys have them done in 2 days. Anyway, let me just code in that reward now. |
#3
Beginnings |
So you’re ready to hear the true story of what happened? A while back, I was working on a game with MakkieMon and CovenK. We were making some progress, but we were still just learning how to work together. Two Youtubers that we had never met approached us and asked if we wanted to make a game with them. This was Didi1147 and Thexz also known as JD. CovenK talked us into it, and we started working on Ghost Simulator. Before I continue, you’ll need to collect some gems for me. Don’t worry, I made sure I programmed this place to give ONLY gems. ...And if you happened to have some Rift gum, you’d probably break the game with how much you’d earn. Come back for your reward. |
Welcome back. I was just working on my motorcycle... She’s white with blue and red highlights. What? I have a life outside of Ghost Simulator... Don’t you? WYou don’t think we devs just sit around all day and work right? I actually still go to college. Just take your reward. |

Success |
Anyway, back on track. So we started making Ghost Simulator. It took us about 5 months. We all were learning how to develop together. We hit some bumpy roads along the way. ....like arguing for 3 hours about changing the map but only changing the color of the paths after all of that. We got through it and published the game... and we quite literally watched it climb to the top. Front page within a few hours. It was amazing. None of us thought it would actually work. It was incredible. And, we just kept updating. Every week a new update. It was hard, but it taught us how to produce quality in a short amount of time. That’s all the story you’re getting until you Find and jump through the red ring. Return for your reward. |
You look pretty toasty. Heh, I thought it’d be fun to hide it in the volcano. I just didn’t think you’d jump in for it. We can’t stop you players no matter what we do. Take your reward. Heh, you deserve it at this point. |

Something's Not Right Here |
Right... So we were a successful game. We had made it after all that hard work and we celebrated for it. But of course, there was something going on we didn’t quite notice yet. Our game was slowly becoming alive. With each update, the npcs gained more and more awareness. We didn’t think it was real at first. How could we? It’s absurd. We thought we were just making a cool storyline, but instead we put these memories into the npcs... We didn’t think they were real people... just really cool characters... but we were so wrong. That’s enough for now. I’ll continue after you collect more ghosts. |
And you have returned. What’s it been? Maybe a few minutes, a few hours? And you’re already almost done with my questline. You guys are way too fast. ...I wonder if I reduced your speed by half... or take away your hoverboard again... Heh, you should’ve seen the look on your face... Alright, enough teasing. Here’s your reward. |
#6
Lifetime |
So our the NPCs... they slowly came to life. And what did we do? ...What normal person would do... Panic. What would you do if a character you created came alive and started getting mad at you? Blaze was the first NPC to gain awareness. He started piecing together the truth... We decided to program in a new NPC, Luna. And we attempted to use her to get the other NPCs in check. That backfired when she found the clues we left were replaced by Blaze’s notes. That’s when she decided to investigate us instead. She didn’t like that we created her to fix the NPCs. When she realized that we were controlling her, she turned on us and started a rebellion. Our own game, the thing we spent 5 months on, turned on us. We became the enemies. Sorry, I’m going on a bit long. Why don’t you go Find some Gems? I’ll program in another reward for you. |
Hm? Oh, you’re back. I was just working on some new content. What? Did you think this was the end of our game? Like we’d ever give up on this. It’s OUR game. Anyway, here’s that reward. |
#7
Enemies |
Right, so we became enemies. The NPCs thought we were going to destroy them. I mean... at first, we just wanted them to go back to normal, but they started hunting us down. We had to retreat using a backdoor we hid in my programming. I’m honestly impressed Leo was able to hack in. But, this also showed us how capable the NPCs were. So, we did the only thing we could do. We prepared for a fight... and we made a decision. If we could reset the game, we could reset the NPCs and restabilize the game. It would become the game you were always meant to play. Not what it is now. Yes, you were meant to play a completely different storyline... But... because the NPCs came to life... They forged their own story. We didn’t have any control over it. And, we didn’t know what was going to happen next. That’s enough for now... I don’t want to overwhelm you. Why don’t you go collect some ghosts? Yeeeees, there’s a reward in it for you. |
Yeeeeah, we did it! Oh, hey there. Wasn’t playing games... I was totally working. Give me one moment... to... Ah! Now I’ve added the reward to your account! |
#8
Digital Remnant |
Anyway... yeah. They fought us, with you on their side. We could take them. We prepared for them. We didn’t prepare for you guys. You’re just like us. You’re real. We can’t fight against that. Nor did we want to. You’re the players. Without you, there wouldn’t be a reason to make the game. Were forced to defend ourselves against both the NPCs we created and players we gained. And, in the end, you were strong enough. We took everything away and you still won. We retreated here, until the Agents of Luna and Ghost Hunters found us. Looking back on it, maybe we could have handled the situation better, but... It was all heat of the moment decisions. Fight or Flight, you know? We choose Fight. But, I’ve actually run into a few of the NPCs here. I think the only reason they haven't attacked us is because there seems to be a bigger threat looming. I’ll get into that more later, but to even get to the threat, you’ll need to find my piece of code. Go find my Digital Remnant. It looks like a puzzle piece. I hid it on my island. Return for a reward. |
Oh good you found it. I programmed it to appear in a random place. I didn’t even know where it was. Here’s the reward. Also, keep the Digital Remnant. You’ll need it to get into the Castle. |
#9
The Resolution |
Here’s the thing. We didn’t program that castle. We made these islands. That castle is not us. We sealed it up as soon as we got here to stop anything from escaping it. We’ve been trying to figure out what's going on inside, but we’re not sure. The NPCs that came here after us also noticed it. It’s caused a temporary truce between all of us. We believe it’s an even greater threat as none of us can seem to detect what’s inside. It’s a completely different code. I’ve never seen it before. We did conclude there’s a Boss of some time inside. So, I’m going to ask you now... Ghost Hunter, will you fight with us to beat this boss? |
You... We... We all did it. Thank you, player. To think... that pesky top hat ghost was plotting this all along. He’s something else. It seems like his plan did work though. The Agents of Luna... The Ghost Hunters... The Developers.. We all see eye to eye now. I think there will finally be some peace. |

Introduction |
Nice to see a friendly face again, Ghost Hunter. It's been a while. Ghost Simulator's reached its 100th update. We gotta throw a little something, right? So here we are. The five of us, we've seen and done a lot over the past couple of years. When our game turned on us, we didn't know what to do. We panicked, we made hard decisions, we prepared for war yet... We found peace. After everything that happened, I didn't think it was still on the table. You helped us understand what Ghost Simulator had become, so thank you, Ghost Hunter.

You're probably tired of listening to me to on, so how about a task to start you off? Chew 5 Gum. You should know how to do that, considering you managed to get here. I'll add a reward to your account once you're back. |
Nice and easy. Welcome back. Reward? Alright, remind me how much Glitchy Nitro Gum you wanted. Twenty thousand? Heh. You couldn't use it all if you tried. Here's your real reward. Alright, you have quite the number of quests in front of you. Just a quick task. You should take the time to celebrate with everyone. A lot of work has gone into preparing, and it's a special day. Chew 5 more Gum. I wouldn't recommend eating them. Get back soon and I'll code in a reward for you. |
