Tagline: A boss has spawned! Go fight to help your fellow ghost hunters and earn Boss Chests!
In Ghost Simulator there are 6 Bosses, all located in the Main Hub, which can be defeated by vacuuming them. Boss health, unlike normal ghosts, are not shown in numbers but rather in percentages and it takes at least 2 mins and 9 seconds(129 seconds) to dispatch them from start.
- They will spawn every 7 mins and 30 seconds after a Race Event, but Event Baits can be used to immediately summon them. Prior to the inclusion of races, the intermission timer was 10 minutes and Event Bait does work also.
- Insufficient Antenna Effect will be disabled temporarily while Boss is active for a maximum time of 5 minutes, this still locks the vacuum from attacking mob ghosts.
- If the player loses engagement(vacuum gets cut off) with the boss just before its health reaches 0%(happens often without Heavy Armor), they will not receive any ectoplasm but will still get the drop based on #4.
- Once you have defeated the boss depending on the amount of HP vacuumed, an increasing exponential amount of sellable Ectoplasm will be yielded with gems being the boss drop, however if at least 9% is vacuumed, the gems will be replaced with the respective biome's Boss Chest and the maximum of 3,500,000(3.5M) Ectoplasm.
- By opening the boss chest obtained you will get Gems and either a tradable Crate Key, a Mythic boss pet of that specific boss, a Legendary Hoverboard Skin or even the shared classified Gem Ship board.

Boss Attacks[]
PLEASE NOTE: If you have Heavy Armor (obtained from Ghost Hunter Leo's questline), you will not be flung back by all attacks other than the self-destruct. However, your hoverboard will still unequip and any attack other than the shockwave will knock back slightly further if in the air than on foot.
- The boss slams down on the ground, causing a ground-based shockwave that knocks anyone too low on the ground back
- The boss slams down on the ground, causing an explosion. Anybody (within radius) will be thrown back. If on a hoverboard, the hoverboard will unequip and the player will be thrown back
- The boss sends mini projectiles (can send multiple) that target random players. Anybody hit by it will be thrown back. If on a hoverboard, the hoverboard will unequip and the player will be thrown back
- (Exclusive only to the Magmoraug) The boss breathes fire. Anybody hit by it will be thrown back. If on a hoverboard, the hoverboard will unequip and the player will be thrown back
- (If Boss isn't defeated by the time limit) The Boss self-destructs knocking ALL players, with or without Heavy Armor, in a large radius back.
