Boss Ghosts, or Bosses, are Ghosts with high amounts of HP that spawn routinely around the Main Hub. Bosses can be defeated by vacuuming them and dodging their attacks, which can be assisted with the help of the Hoverboard, Heavy Armor, Jetpack, or other mobility-based Upgrades. There are also variants to Bosses, such as Mini Bosses and Mega Bosses, which are found in later Worlds, such as the Ghost World, Backdoor, and Remnant Zone.
Bosses have a 7 minutes and 30 seconds long cooldown and spawn after a Race Event; though, said cooldown can be skipped with Event Bait. When a Boss has spawned, there is a 5 minute countdown until the Boss despawns, giving Players lots of time to vacuum the Boss before it goes away. Insufficient Antenna Effect will be disabled temporarily in a Biome where a Boss has spawned, allowing newer Players to gain rewards and complete Quests requiring Bosses without having to unlock higher Antenna Levels. Despite this, Players must have Antenna Level 4 in order to receive in-game notifications for when a Boss has spawned.
Bosses' HP are displayed as percentages (from 100%); however their maximum HP is 3,500,000 HP. When the Player vacuums a Boss completely, it will be defeated, and they will earn 3,500,000 Ectoplasm in their Pack, along with the Boss' equivalent Boss Chest. If the Player stops vacuuming the Boss before it's defeated, or they vacuum it below 9% HP, they will not receive any Ectoplasm; but will still be rewarded with the Boss Chest.
Attacks[]
Note: If you have Heavy Armor, you will not be flung back by most attacks except the self-destruct attack. However, your hoverboard will still unequip, and any attack other than the shockwave will knock back slightly further if in the air than on foot.
- The Boss slams down on the ground, causing a ground-based shockwave that will knock any Players standing on the ground without a Hoverboard.
- The Boss slams down on the ground, this time causing an explosion. Anybody within radius will be knocked back. If on a Hoverboard, the hoverboard will be unequipped as they are knocked back.
- The Boss sends small, occasionally multiple, projectiles that target random Players. Anybody hit by it will be thrown back. If on a hoverboard, the hoverboard will unequip and the player will be thrown back
- If the Boss isn't defeated within it's time limit, it will self-destruct, knocking all Players within a large radius (even those with Heavy Armor) back.
List of Bosses[]
The 6 Bosses are of the following, and are listed based on the way they chronologically spawn. New or Private servers will select a random Boss to spawn in the next rotation.
