Bo is an NPC and despite resembling a Ghost, is also a titled Ghost Hunter ("Ghost Hunter Bo"). This is because he was an average ghost until he found a vacuum and put it on his back, which is when he became a Ghost Hunter.

Bo began appearing during events, originally as a one off in the Dinosaur Event, but due to high demand, he eventually came back in future events, such as future Halloween Events, Thanksgiving Events and Christmas Events. He was finally added to the main storyline through his name being in the BloxByte HQ and eventually a questline in BloxByte HQ (Mini-World) and Void Castle. He continued to be represented in events, though in the Atlantis Event and almost all subsequent events, usually being released as a second part to the event as a sort of side quest.

In all events that Bo appears in, except for his first appearance in the Dinosaur Event, Bo always rewards the player with a pet version of himself, which shares the same stats as the most powerful unboxable Legendary or Godly (depending on rarity) Pet. He also usually rewards the player with Bo's Spirit ("Does absolutely nothing"), which is rewarded at almost all events, and in some cases like the 2020 Halloween Event, the 2020 Christmas Event and the 2020 Thanksgiving Event, you are rewarded a variation of Bo's Spirit like "Bo's Eternal Friendship" and "Bo's Thanks".

Lore

Bo accidentally opened a portal which opened a portal to the Easter Realm and made Fluffy be released. This can be seen in the BloxByte HQ biome (not the area where the Final Boss is located), as a Fluffy arm is seen reaching out of the portal.

Along with that, in his BloxByte HQ dialogue, he claims to be the leader of the Ghost Rebellion, before trying to cover up what he said by saying it’s a “-party squad. Definitely the Ghost Party Squad! TM pending. “

It is later revealed in The Void that he started a war to end the NPCs versus the devs' war.

It's revealed in his Angel Bo questline that not everything he says may be accurate, mentioning this Wiki page as assuming everything he says as facts.

Looks

Bo is shaped like an upside-down droplet and is neon green. Along with that, his face resembles a Lenny face and he always wears a top hat and tuxedo. Depending on the event, Bo's appearance will slightly change, such as during the 2019 Halloween Event where he was given a fang and was given a Dracula coat, the 2019 Thanksgiving Event where he was given a Turkey tail, and the 2019 Christmas Event where his body was one of a Snowman.

• Ghost Hunter Bo is the only "Ghost Hunter" who isn't or doesn't resemble a humanoid.
• Bo is marked as ??? in Luna's Room along with Ghost Hunter Gabe and Gatekeeper.
• After solving a complicated puzzle in BloxByte HQ, you can enter a secret room where Bo is found.
• Bo could be seen sleeping while fishing in Atlantis, for the first 2 weeks in the Atlantis Event.
• Bo was an idea from Makkiemon's sister, WegaArk.
• Bo's shirt and pants can be purchased from the BloxByte Games Store.
• There is a gum named and based after Bo.
